Second pass, previous version is on the right. After thinking about it in the morning, I realized that the perspective was rather messed up. The base of the glider should not be a "wall", but a flat surface viewed from an angle. So I shortened the legs of the craft and reduced the width of it as well. The result is much better I think.
Other changes:
- Added the second ski that was missing from the background
- Replaced the placeholder of the chest with something that actually looks like one.

- Made the mast a little less wide
- Made the sails less pointy and look more like fabric. Also added two attachment points for the top on each side
- Fleshed out the "leg box" in the front a bit
- Shaded the parts that I felt were complete: the mast, chest, and skis
I'm rather impressed with myself on the shading job I did.

I think I'm finally starting to understand shading and colors.
Next steps that I'm thinking about include:
- Maybe make the base of the craft even more narrow? I'm pondering if it's still too large
- Replace that chair seat with something custom. Particularly I'm thinking about making the seat back less curved and more rigid
- I'm wondering if its okay to just have the sails attached to the mast, or if I should have wooden stakes sticking out of the sides to attach the sails to? I mean this is a single-person craft so maybe it's fine the way it is now...

- I need to add some rope lines from the sails to some poles/stakes that they are tied around near the driver seat. Otherwise there's no clear way for how the craft is controlled.
- Still wonder if the shape of the sails needs improvement. Once I figure it out, I'm going to add some patterns and embellishments to it (in addition to standard shading) to make it a little more visually interesting
- I feel like the "leg box" could be improved. I'm just not sure how at the moment.
