I love how the stinger/tail is coming along. I'm not a huge fan of the blue eyes though. They just look a little odd to me, and perhaps too bright as well. Maybe you could try playing around with the saturation or swapping the color to a more menacing-looking red? Just a thought.

I like the red eyes a lot better. Really makes the beast look more menacing.

Did you decide to make the upper torso gray/silver instead of brown? Just noticed that in your last iteration the torso had brown shading and now it's back to gray. I think having the tail that color is okay, but having the torso be gray and then suddenly brown would look a little odd IMO.
