Sourceforge Project Upgrade

Post by Roots » Wed Dec 12, 2012 11:17 am

I got an e-mail this morning from Sourceforge encouraging us to upgrade our project to their new platform. Pretty good timing, since we're upgrading everything else regarding the site.

https://sourceforge.net/p/allura/wiki/Features/

I'm going to go ahead and perform the upgrade, but not just yet. First I want to make sure that all relevant content from the old wiki has been transferred over to the new wiki, just in case the upgrade completely destroys the old wiki. Will probably be at most a couple days before the wiki content migration is complete. I'll post in here again once the upgrade is complete.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/allacrost/

Our project page has now been updated. Thankfully it did not take the old wiki down in the process. I was notified that the SVN repository location will change soon and that they will send out an e-mail to all who have access to SVN once it is complete. I'll update this topic with that information as I get it.

Migration to the new repository is now complete.
Your cloned repository code in project allacrost is now ready for use.

Old repository url: http://allacrost.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/allacrost

New repository checkout command: svn checkout --username=rootslinux svn+ssh://rootslinux@svn.code.sf.net/p/allacrost/code/trunk allacrost-code

You and any other developers should do a fresh checkout using the new repository location.
Obviously you'll want to use your own sourceforge name and not "rootslinux".
