I download the allacrost_unstable_source_20110612.tar.gz tarball, gunzipped it and found allacrost-0.1.0 . Entered the directory and tried the instructions given at
http://allacrost.sourceforge.net/wiki/i ... x_and_OS_X
Got this comment/issue in the first step itself, the autoreconf -i
Code: Select all
/allacrost-0.1.0$ autoreconf -i
autoreconf: configure.ac: AM_GNU_GETTEXT is used, but not AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION
Makefile.am:320: `:='-style assignments are not portable
Makefile.am:323: `%'-style pattern rules are a GNU make extension
I do not know whether its just a comment or it makes a difference or not.
The autoconf package (which has the autoreconf command is 2.68-1 .
Would try to go ahead for now, but just putting it here so its on record.

Yeah I've seen those messages before. They are only warnings so everything still works fine, but yes we should clean that up at some point. Its just that we haven't played with our build files since gorzuate first put everything together, and he has since defected from Linux for OS X.

Same for me. I also get this messages but the configure file is clean anyway.
