Great demo, just one suggestion

Hi all!.

Great art and music :), but please, on the next tech demo implement (at least) a basic mouse control: it was hard for me to navigate through the character options with the keyboard.

Thanks for the comment, but we have no plans for mouse support at this time. It will actually take a lot of work to implement mouse support, because user input will have to be processed in a completely different manner for all the various modes of play. Besides, the game was designed to operate like console RPGs, not PC RPGs such as Diablo. We do have support for gamepads and joysticks implemented if you have either of those.

The beauty of this game being open-source, is that if there are skilled people who want a mouse-driven interface, they can go ahead and code it.

Right now, the current team is most concerned with building content; concerned with making a core game worth adding mouse support to.

A mouse infrastructure for menu navigation would really not be that difficult... just keep track of the mouse position in the input handling, use gluProject and gluUnProject to turn it into OpenGL coordinates, and use like a MouseBox class to handle clicks in certain areas of the screen. After all, even if mouse navigation would be difficult to put into battle mode or map mode it would certainly be a handy feature for menus and such.
