What happened to Roots?

Hey guys, long long time no see (Since 2005 according to the forum software).

What happened to Roots? This thing was his baby and it's weird to see him disappear. Is he okay?

Sorry to put this up in public, but the PM interface doesn't work for me.

Grats guys... just grats

Thought I would poke my head in and see what's up. Glad to see all the progress. Yay for demo releases! And the new site is truly awesome.

Keep up the good work.

All actions reduce the bar to zero, because all actions are affected equally by the bar.  If you do Ultra-attack-of-doom at 60% wait, then its only 60% effective (as well as losing the 100% bonus).  Also, Ultra-attack will require more skill points than slash.  You can probably only g...

mua ha ha, yes, make Claudius look more and more like me, my plan is working!

Seriously though, I like the hair over the ear.  It ages him about 2-3 years, which is fitting.

My point is that the timed attack feature is so specific, and limited to only one or two games in the genre, that it is obvious where the idea came from.  You can only steal ideas if no one knows where you got it from ;)

Great sprite, couldn't see this fabled "knee thing" but w/e.  I just think the animation is too fast.  If the moving signifies breathing, sucker is gonna hyperventilate, heat of battle or not :P Rain, the prince is supposed to be a *dark* hero.  That's why he looks like he is, sort of...

Well there are some RPG elements that are so ubquitos (sp?) that you can't not have them (lvls, hp, battles), there are some that are unique like the Paper Mario (originally was in Super Mario RPG actually) timed attacks.  I think that if we were to use it, we could very easilly be branded with...

I choose #1 for reasons of clarity.  It may not look the most realistic, but its obvious what it is, which is the aim of an icon in my book.

I think it looks good, but the only thing that irks me is that I look at it, and it screams: "indy garage game" to me.  Granted, that's what we're making, but  I think it needs some polish.  Now, if this is a draft/WIP as stated, then I'll just stfu.

What in the samhelsinki, how did I miss this?

Wow, that's incredible man, I really like it.

Don't think I have any really strong opinions for any changes, so just roll with what other people have said.
