Re: Casino mini-game idea

As far as strategy mini-games are concerned I don't think there should be a limit. A comparison can be made to grinding these mini-games with grinding low level monsters in an area. It's just player time spent elsewhere; so long as they are working towards a goal we shouldn't introduce barriers. Luc...

Re: Item idea brainstorming thread

Monster Rancher (which I just ebayed) reminded me of how I use to love that game as a kid. The number one draw was these ancient disc sort of things. You would place them in the 'shrine' and they would transform into monsters you could raise. The coolest thing about it was in order to use an ancient...

Re: phpBB3.0

I'd like to take credit for that - but I wouldn't know what I did. :heh:

I see the problem now (Gorzuate & Roots) and I'll just change the image in a few hours.

Re: phpBB3.0

That's strange... all I get is the blue and red potions, could you take a screen shot the next time it happens?

I do a lot of stuff while I'm in English. :)

Generic meaning blue, or proSilver, basic, right out of the box, generic?

Re: Drupal Administration Lock-out

Ok, I'll find the necessary files for upgrading it then. I don't think it's hard - I just wanted to make sure you knew that upgrading might not be the fix. Nevertheless, I am sure there are other benefits; especially considering we are quite a few versions behind.

Re: phpBB3.0

Ok, everything works now. There are still some style changes (especially when viewing a topic) but nothing should be broken, if it is please let me know and I'll fix it really quickly. I went slower this time because when I rush things break - and that's never a good thing. I'll be uploading the rem...

Ok, I'm going to keep giving it a few more shots, but I'll give Jetryl the batphone just in case.

Hi Adam,

Your programs look very similar to mine (aside from the OGL). I know I learn most things in JAVA as well, so maybe it is quite natural for courses to offer JAVA for the first two years or so...?

Re: phpBB3.0

Sounds good. :hack:

EDIT: Hmm - I may have over judged my Photoshop skills... I'm going to see what they look like greyed out, since me drawing the empty bottle might be a no-go.

Re: phpBB3.0

Just as I go through and rename and overwrite the images (to what was on phpBB 2.x) I notice that we have a lot of potions to signify new posts and such. The problem is that (and I think this was brought up before) it's quite hard to tell what topic has new posts, since the potions aren't THAT varie...

Re: phpBB3.0

The Allacrost theme has it on the left-side (I assumed that was preferential?) - sorry about it taking so long, I took a break for a day or two, I'll try and finish tonight.

Re: Drupal Administration Lock-out

I think I got it to work, it certainly remembers my log in session now.

This was the modification in index.php:
drupal_page_footer();
$GLOBALS['tempUser'] = $user;

Sorry, I didn't see this reply.

I looked through the FTP and text files - is our Drupal version 4.7? Sorry I haven't done anything noticeable, I'm just being as cautious as possible because I really don't want to affect anything.
